What QBO Setup includes:

• New QuickBooks Online company file creation

• Proper business profile configuration

• Chart of accounts tailored to your business model

• Tax settings and preferences

• Products & services setup (as applicable)

• Bank and credit card connections

• Accounting method alignment (cash or hybrid, as applicable)

• Review of opening balances (if available)

This setup establishes a clean, compliant foundation that supports accurate reporting and future growth.

If you are currently using another accounting system and want to transition to QuickBooks Online, we offer guided migration support using Intuit-recommended workflows and third-party tools when appropriate.

While we do not perform manual data extraction or custom conversions, we support and oversee the migration process to ensure your data lands correctly in QBO and that your new system is configured properly post-migration.

We currently support migrations to QuickBooks Online from:

• QuickBooks Desktop

• Wave Accounting

• FreshBooks

• Xero

• Sage 50 (Peachtree)

What Migration Support includes:

• Pre-migration readiness review

• Confirmation of data scope and cut-off date

• Guidance on using approved migration tools (including Dataswitcher, when applicable)

• Post-migration review of imported data

• Chart of accounts verification and cleanup

• Re-connection of banks and feeds

• Reconfiguration of QBO settings and preferences

• Validation of balances and key reports

• Identification of known migration limitations or exclusions
  
  

Our role is to ensure your new QBO file is usable, accurate, and aligned with best practices after the conversion.

QuickBooks Online setup and migration services may be engaged in one of two ways:

1. As a standalone service, or

2. As a prerequisite for ongoing subscription services
   
   

The path selected depends on the condition of the existing data and the client’s long-term service goals.

Included with Subscription (Limited Cases)

For businesses with:

• A small data profile, and

• Approximately 3–6 months of activity, and

• Clean, reconcilable data
  
  

Basic QuickBooks Online setup may be included as part of the subscription onboarding process, at the firm’s discretion. The setup service fee is waived. This option is available only when setup is straightforward and does not require historical remediation.

• Migration services are limited to QuickBooks Online

• We do not currently offer setup or migration services for Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES)

• Historical data completeness depends on the source system and migration method

• Some data types (attachments, certain reports, inactive records, or detailed audit trails) may not migrate fully—this will be discussed in advance
  
  

In certain cases, we may recommend a fresh QuickBooks Online setup instead of a migration. If the existing accounting file has not been reconciled, contains significant errors, or reflects unclean or unreliable data, migrating that file may transfer issues forward rather than resolve them. When this occurs, starting with a clean QBO file and establishing proper opening balances may be the most efficient and cost-effective path forward.
